I was rather pleased with this one. Mounted on a 40mm base because of 3e D&D rules. (Many of the figures I work on, I keep in mind they're for D&D purpose, so proper base size helps with combat.) 5/2/03 - Busted out my photojournalism skills and updated this with a better picture.

Technically, it's a pretty good paint job: detailing is flawless. However, I don't much care for the colors. Rather than looking alive, the mini looks like it made of play-doh. Maybe it's the sculpt's fault, but I don't see this problem with other owlbears that have been posted.

Reminds me of those where-bears i used to have when i was a kid. any one else think that?
