This is my version of Creed and Kell to match the rest of my Imperial Guard army (the Cadian 168th "Fire Serpants"). Comments are greatly appreciated!!!
Try thinning down your paints with some water- they should be abouth the consistency of milk. It doesnt matter if you have to do multiple coats for the same color; the end result is far better. Also try a darker blue wash or ink on the cloth. The armor could use a second level of highlights- some stark almost-white along the very prominent edges.
