Shaka Umruk, orc Shaman

Here is Shaka Umruk, brand new mini from Rackham. I am really happy to see how this bulky caracter turned out once painted... The little kingfisher is made with greenstuff !! I added the bird to show that orcs are "nature friendly" in the game Confrontation.

War Griffon
Lovely bit of work I especially like the kingfisher the detail on it is fantastic considering it is only greenstuff and very small. The tatoo's on the arms are almost luminous (like sort of magical) and works very well but I'm not quite sure about the US marking on his belt poutch.

I can only endorse Mick's comment, "..you do us proud". I particularly love the 'U.S.' on his pouch. I do have to voice some doubt about the woodpecker however for two reasons: 1) Any self-respecting Orc would have arm-wrestled it down his throat on sight. So a more appropriate rendition would have had its tail feathers protruding from our fella's gob. 2) I have only just (nearly) mastered the art of painting 25mm miniatures. Now, because of you, specifically, I suppose i have got to try to master the art of painting various avian creatures no bigger than the size of a grain of rice! Thank you. Thank you very much!

great paint job you keep staring at it waiting to see it take a breath. The little bird is an excellent touch.
