the face and hair are definately the highlight of this piece, nearly perfect. I can't tell if it's just the photo, but the rest looks less crisp, still a solid 8++
Dude. The faces you have been doin' of late just floor me. I'm gonna have to pick your brain on how you manage those expressions...surely this can't be sculpt alone. Your highlighting and shading in the area is phenomenal. The hair on this guy is what gets me, though. It's so natural, so flawless. The only *downside* to this mini is the base. It looks like you put some work into it, but it feels "rushed"...kinda like you were just glad to be done with the painting. I little more effort here would have paid off, IMHO. Regardless, a wonderful job...I see you makin' improvements with every mini...marked improvements. Keep it up! You've got me anxious to see your next one.
