Undivided Chaos Beastman

Hi, This is my first post on this or any website... I really want to improve my painting skills as I have been at it for a long time (about 15 years on and off) and feel that I have hit my limit. I love painting plastics as the flexability of the model means its unique before the paint even hits the surface. I am working on a Beastman for each of the four gods and hopefully will post those on here aswell... Please, Please leave any comments or advice to improve my methods. Thank you in advance, PsySquig.

Thank you for the comments tidoco and drake, I will highlight further next time as this seems to be my biggest problem. Is is possible to highlight alot and still retain the dark look I was after ?

This is a pretty good effort the skin tones are nice possible a bit of darker shading in the recesses of the muscles would have given better definition and certainly a couple of lighter highlights on the hair would raise the mini quite a bit. I love the base, axe and sword are good too. Nice job overall.

I would say that you need to bring your highlights up just a bit. I know how you feel about hitting a wall.
