warmachine table guide

this piece of terrain might need a little explaining, but once you get the big idea, i think you'll find it quite convenient. the terrain piece is a little styrofoam shelf i built to keep turn count, and hold up unit stat cards in a more dignified way, keeping them off the battlefield. TOP- as the piece is designed to go on the table in your deployment zone, i did a favor to the opponent and gave him a little eye candy, a shot up fortress wall is quick and easy. MIDDLE- the numbers on the top of the shelf denote the turn sequence and game round. the turn is marked by sticking a thumbtack into the styrofoam of the appropriate number, which is written twice and color coded to keep track of whose turn it is. BOTTOM- the actual card shelf, which the owning player sees. makes life easier for us lazy people that like to sit down and not have to stand up to read cards or grab them.

Good idea... the thumbtack thing will trash the styrofoam after a few games though. I'd have rigged beads on a wire or something instead.
