Unquestionably well painted with a lot of skill and attention to detail, but... Whilst the weathering is well-painted, it doesn't seem to be applied with any rhyme or reason. The best weathering is the sort that tells a story - this bit is where a bullet bounced off the armour; this bit is where he had to take a dive to avoid a missile overhead; this bit is where a grot tried to bite him on the bum-plate, etc. Weathering in real life doesn't fall evenly across armour, but concentrates in areas of greatest wear and use. But don't take that too much to heart. It's a brilliant model, with lots of points for me to learn from. I just think it could be even better.
Very Nice work. I like the fact you drilled out the barrel on the gun, and the battle damage is well painted. He looks like he has been though the mill... Some things look a bit over washed though. Excellent Job over all.
The eyes are also well painted I like the glow? Did you do that by mixing FUTURE floor wax in with your paint to thin it down and to get it to be more translucent?
The ones who gives a lower rate than 10 to this mini might be crazy !!!
I've never seen a space marine so wonderfull, so original. It is so close to what they might be if they were real...
I think it's a new standard now to paint marine and I won't be surprise if in the next days some painters tries to do the same painting style on similars minis.
The only person wo can paint a better space marine than this one is... cyril himself !
Bravo again !
