Bretonnian Sorceress

Slightly better pictures of the sorceress, still not too good at snapping pics. Critiques and Comments are encouraged, its the only way im going to know what you guys think i need to fix. This was a great miniature to paint. i loved the flowing robes and hair. this was my first time trying to do lipstick on a mini as well as my first attempt at doing jewels on such a small scale. i hope you guys like it.

thanks for the comments guys. i didnt start out wanting the "tired" look as you mentioned James but the more i thought about sorcerers and mages in fantasy terms, they're tireless pursuers of knowledge so i decided the look sort of fit her role and left it alone. i agree about the staff though, the more ive looked at it the more i think its too light also.

The jewels & front part of the robe are really cool, as is the nmm on the sword. I would have darkened up the wand a bit and toned the flesh a bit differently, she looks a little "tired". Nice base !

I really like it. The only criticism I have is that, from the back, the darklining where her hand is gripping that staff/wand is still a little too noticeable. Maybe it looks like it's more on her palm than on the object. Not sure, it just distracts me on an otherwise fantastic mini.
