Praying Angel

This is a little diorama of mine, showing a kneeling Blood Angel Termi in front of a scratchbuilt altar. Not an easy mini to photograph, i am still not sure about the presentation... But alas, i constructed it myself: so no one else to blame. It combines two obsessions of mine: angelic symbols (the sanguinius relief was something i wanted to do for years, but never got around to) and cutting those blocky GW plastic terminators into little pieces- only to reassemble the guy in a more dynamic pose with some extra bits here and there. As the lighting is solely provided by candles i used yellow in abundance, even the red armour got a nice orange hue where the light falls onto it. ....ah yes! let me know what you think! thanks for watching!

I love the dark colors. It gives it a very dark moody feel to it. Very effective. Good job. :-)

Thank you all for commenting! in this case it was doubly helpful as i didn´t notice the "topplin´Termi" effect myself (Painters tunnel-view, i suppose) and wanted to show the mini off in a local painting contest. So i was spared a few laughs i guess.... by the way:i hate admitting it, but these pics are already the best i managed(to date)! i constantly try to decide how many angles a mini needs to be seen ok, and this one was a real nightmare as one single shot couldn´t hope to get it all in, which in turn made the 100k a dire prospect paid for in pic quality... (if this sounds like a cry for help- it is just that!) but i try to improve, so a repost is not impossible- watch this space!
