Jalindrix Female Devil...Angel

I couldn't see painting her as a devil, hence the angelic wings. Wow, was this mini difficult to paint, she's very petite, except for up top lol I was totally clueless on what to do with the base, so I tried to make it look like she was flying above the clouds. Anyway, comments, as always, are extremely appreciated.

I really like the wings and the way they set the body off. I agree with the middle shade comment, maybe more of a blue purple shading on the inside of the middle feathers. The sandals look great. Nice work with the addition of the wings.

Nice job on this lady! The color on her feathers are lovely and I like the hair alot! I don't like how the base appears to be the same color as the wings and I think you should have done something to blend the reaper brocolli base in with the square base around it--some kind of snow effect might look cloudy enough. As it is, it doesn't look very convincing, I'm afraid.. =(. Also, i don't really like the red accents on her clothing combined with her purple/blue wings--If they had been yellow/orange or gold, I think they would have provided better contrast for the overall look of the piece..

that's a nice model! Such a cool pose, is it converted?? One piece of advice; if u WANT a blended effect on the feathers, u need to work out a middle shade between the purple and blue, and blend towards the darker colours in both directions with washes.
