Odd painted night goblin

As the title say (and as you might have noticed by now!) this is a night goblin with an "unique" color-scheme. Just a model i had left over, and tought i might paint and try to get a good skin-tone, since im going to make a goblin army and tought i'd mix one up! Aswell as the skin was a test so was the hat (or whatever you'd call it), i've always had a hard time painting yellow, so i tough it try to make red, and work my way up. It looks pretty good IMO, abit rough but who cares?! And if you look at the base, you see its split in two, same thing again, a test, on wich would work best. Either grass by painting sand green, or just go with "brown" sand. Comments are welcome!

Minigrrrl
well....first off, I think you're suffering from image comression madness...not your fault, but it leaves something to desire. I like the base, even in it's split way. Try usding the different sponts to create 'shades' of the model above... Also, the skin is top, but the blue is too...drybrushed/grainy. Try using the same techniques on that as the yellow, only allow yourself a few more stages, like 3, or maybe 4. Also, if you use pinning to make the right foot secure to the base, you don't need the flying base nib to keep the mini up..it really distracts....talent, keep going!
