Viking Bondi

These are a few of the Gripping Beast Vikings that I'm painting up for DBM (a historical wargame). In DBM they get based 4, 3 or 2 to a 60mm wide base depending on what type they are, and I plan to do the basing in one session once the painting is done. A DBM Norse army consists of about 200-250 foot and 30+ mounted figures, so I'm happy with this quality paint job but would like some tips on how to paint quicker. It takes me 1.5 to 2 hours each. These are historical figures, so I can't use an assembly line process with the same color scheme on each figure. The figures have several layers of clothing, so washes won't be a time saver. Any hints and tips on quick painting would be appreciated.

Those look quite good. To paint faster you just have to dump off some layers. Even with that quality, it'll get faster to paint them, 'cause you'll master those tecniques better and better. That's when it get's faster.
