I've got to be honest, I don't like the effect of the stripes. It's making the barding look Pink (a non heraldic colour) Also I'm not sure that the Icon used looks right as Heraldry. However it is neat and cleanly painted and does deserve the 7 for the work. No offense intended. :)
I like the striped pattern on the cloth of the trumpet and the horse. It makes the material look more textured or even embroidered and very precious. That effect works well, and is very neatly executed.
