Langaard, Champion of Baalor

Another Champion of Baalor. Langaard is possibly the most converted foot miniature I've ever attempted; born of an old Chaos Sorcerer, a new Chaos Champion and a 40K Chaos Marine head, I decided that wasn't enough and sculpted a cloak for him as well as bearskin attachments!

I give this a "Solid 6", slighty above table top quality. It's pointless to say whether metalics or NMM is the right or wrong choice, since it's the artists choice that matters. I really like the metalics of the axe head. They came out very nice. The chainmail doesn't look as clean. I'm not sure if it's the paint or the model. I've seen some bad chainmail on GW figures. The black is nicely highlited. The cloak is nice too. I can't figure out what's going on with the base though. Also, the picture looks seriously washed out. Way too much light/white. Keep up the work!

It is very nice! But indeed his horns will prevent him from doing anyone harm. Nicely painted as well!

Really nice but how is he able to chop anything with those horns in the way, looking strange also with the black in the snow and perhaps you should do something with the horns.
