An experiment with making a simple display base. The base is blue styrofoam, carved with a knife and plastered. The center of the foam was hollowed out and filled with plaster to give weight and a solid mount to attach the mini to. The mini is pinned to the plaster, through the foam. As for Monique herself, I gave her the same colour scheme as my chaos fighter "Bloodhelm Bairn-Eater", not because I think she looks particularly evil, but because I like red & brass together. I tried to make her face look a little battle-weary, with heavy contrast around the cheekbones and eye sockets.
