A wash of black ink over all the metallic parts would go a long way towards making it look more realistic.

I like the "Flame Tongue" and the clothing is nice and firey bright! I have this guy incidentally :)

THe blending work on the sword is nice, but why not apply that to the rest of the mini as well? The metal bits in particular are begging for some shading. :-) Real nice job on the swaord though.
