Cool OOP Plague Marine

This is one of my favorite Plague Marines of all time. I only had one copy of the miniature and it was painted poorly by me say ten years ago so I stripped the model and repainted and voila. I used my tiny line style on the armor and some custom blends on the flesh. The backpack is a Legion of the Damned one I think that I got at a GT because of it the bones were given extra attention too. Hopefully the picture captures most of the details. I may have to put up a larger picture on my site some day. You can see my Nurgle army at http://nurgle.muschamp.ca

This is just a rank and file model in my army. That said it is a favourite of mine. I think I gave myself about a 7 or something. I have my own style and paint scheme which some like and some don't. I have no problems with anything you said though I often wonder if I couldn't do a better job showing off my painting and selling myself err promoting myself better. I don't really care, I'm old school as far as 40K goes check out my nurgle army: http://nurgle.muschamp.ca I may just paint something in the near future after a year away from the brushes or at least six months.

While I do think that the shade areas and joints between color transitions could benefit from some targeted washes and/or lining-in, I think it's a solid paint job and an excellent color scheme. Good attention to detail all round, especially the Nurgling and the consistently striated armor. (How could you not love the Nurgling, though?)
