Despite ash's accuracy points the figure does look very much like the Sean Connery portrayal of "Brother William". Bushido; the book is "The Name of the Rose" by Umberto Ecco and is a very fine historical detective novel, but does take a lot of concentration. I think the figure is one of the better Movie style depictions by Andrea. Oh and we were asked to put comments in French as well. Ooops.

Not knowing what book this is from, I would say that it's excellent. To me it looks like some wizard/sage in his study.

Nice job on the figure, but i would have chosen a less "fantasy style" in the book covers and the table The maker is "Andrea Miniatures" which has this 54 mm model and a 120 mm bust i think
