Living Saint Celestine

Wow, what a nightmare to paint... But also what a bliss. The halo and her 'wings' were so freaking hard to get right that I almost went crazy. But on the other hand there are also so many cool details on her - and overall I really love the figure. I chose not to use NMM, 'cause I wanted to try some new techniques with gold metallics. I've made a detail-pic with some close-ups, so you can see all my bad mistakes :(, but mainly because I thought it could be funny to 'get a closer look'. This pic lost a lot of quality when I compressed it, so I'm gonna upload another one, just with one pic, but in a higher quality.

The only thing i can see missing, is some freehand on the back.... i know that it was probably a painstaking process to blend like that, but if it were topped off with somethin pretty, itd make all the difference... also, the sword seems lacking when compared to the gold armor... Great job

Gah, I never saw the back of this figure before - never realized how those "cherubs" were attached to her... *shudder* I say it again, the Imperium = Chaos.
