Converted Vermin Lord on scatch built base.
These pictures were taken at the 2004 Baltimore Golden Demon painting competition. I did not take home a demon, but I did make the first cut. This mini took 130+ hours. There is a rat in the pipe, and the drain on the top of the base actually connects with the pipe. Under the dead soldiers legs is kind of a graveyard scene built into the base. The bottom left image shows this more clearly, though this image is progress picture. I had to paint what would become the inside of the base first before I even started to construct the rest of the base. The image to the right shows what the graveyard part of the base looks like on the completed model.
