An old mini i was given and repainted. The air vortex is wire overlaid with modelling putty.
I have one of these to paint soon and I'm not really looking forward to it. The sculpt is pretty hokey. I think you did a great job though. I really like the tornado base. I haven't seen anything that was sculpted to look like air actually look like air yet, so no points deducted for not looking like air. ;) The pin showing between his legs is pretty distracting though...maybe through his feet would've been better. All in all very nice.
good contrats between colours, nice smooth highlights, this is more like it! Although the har is a bit too drybrushed/inked for my liking, it's effective, but......air? Looks more like a rock to me, but saying that, sculpting smoke is extremely hard, so you get points for trying!
