Inquisitor preacher (repost)

I love the 40K inquisitor minis, lots of character especially in the faces, lots of different forms and lots of opportunity for interesting paint jobs. I've been doing a lot of purple recently, but for this one I toned down the highlights, and used kommando khaki for the highlight. This gives a less harsh, warmer colour, that I think looks more "realistic". Had a go at some green for a change and it seems to contrast very well with the purple. My first go at doing a shaved head, and I was really pleased with how it came out, I simply did an very dark brown (almost black) wash over the area, then I washed over that with a very dilute wash of the skin tone, it even looks like he has bare patches, which is perfect for this character. Many thanks to Tammy, Dragonsreach, Chrispy and everyone else for the tips on doing freehand lettering, I think its come out pretty well.

At 7.5 it is still way underrated. You did and outstanding job with that chainsaw. The little bushes on the base look obviously like sponge, I think that is what is taking your scores down. Still, beyond that I think it is underrated....
