This is a mini I made for my Ultramarines army. The Black Sword is scratch built and painted with my first attempt at a 'crackle lightning' effect I think turned out really cool (and purely accidental!). It was painted with Citadel Color's old (aka not made anymore) Metallic Blue over Storm Blue and depending how the sword catches the light, actually looks like lightning crawling over the blades. The right shoulder plate is adorned with the crest of the Black Templars' as homage to the first Emperor's Champion, Sigismund. Note mud/dirt on his boots and bottom the cloak. Emjoy! :)

I like the overall model, my only suggestion is you make the cape be a contrasting color i.e. red. Besides that, superb.

I like it, but I think you should put a little more effort into the cape ie, add a border, or design or something.

It's nice, but I don't light the flat color, the sword looks to short, and I HATE the cape...
