LOTR Gandalf the Grey

I really enjoyed painting this mini, especially all the various shades of grey. I cut the staff off and filed the remainder out of the hand, then I used my xacto and carved the fingers and hollowed out the palm area and resculpted the robe a bit. The reason I did this minor conversion is because eventually this mini will be part of the titanic clash atop Zirakzigil diorama I've been working on, complete with the mighty balrog and ruined dwarven watchtower. I didn't glue the mini to the circular base for this reason and it can be easily removed and eventually will be pinned directly to the watchtower when it is completed. I built the shrine in the background using Hirst arts blocks it makes for an interesting backdrop for the mini.

Your textures are great - the cloth really looks soft and pliant, and the belt really looks like a strip of hanging leather. The face and hair are both really good looking also.
