Panzergrenadier

This is a 1/16th Scale German Panzergrenadier from Tamiya. I did a little converting to change the tunic by adding epaulettes (shoulder litzen). This is my first time working in this scale and I am not really happy with the results. The model is superb, and really is full of some very fine details. I learned a lot on this piece, and hope to do more of these kinds of kits.

I like him! What a great figure. You nailed the MP38, and the shoulder straps. He looks a little like he just came back from the laundry, and even then he's super cool. Weathering can help or hurt these big figures. You never know what's too much.

dont see why you are un happy? its nice and accurate! all it needs are rivets and eyelets on the helmet (tamiya's fault!)and also the belt should be black perhaps with a little brown wear on the edges! an canvas strap on the breadbag ! but as a paint job goes a defffinite 8 !
