good technical painting, but a bit too "busy" for my liking. there are too many details fighting for attention.......and he's going to fall off that horse any moment now!

Very brave of you to put up such close-ups. I think your freehand is excellent and creative. The only problem I see is that you might have been to enthusiastic with it. Some of the colours and patterns work against each other (the yellow/blue on the black/red on the purple/white with blue on the inside). Anyways, I love the blue and yellow on the horses neck (very Regal looking). Great job.
