I used GW matt varnish, but as always it seems to end up more like satin. The camera flash also makes it seem shiny. Yes, I've seen your mini's and the gloss effect reminded me of Blanche's old work. Personally I like a matt finish, but it can sometime dull the figure down too much....
Is that a semi-gloss varnish you have used on it? I'm in a bit of a dilemma at the moment, I used to be a fan of gloss, but now, I'm not so sure...
