Wood Sorceress

Thanks to everyone who commented and voted on my Misan. I was/am suffering from terrible painter's block and after trying my hands at something completely different in order to distract myself I picked up this figure here. My sister gave it to me who got it from someone else who got it from a friend...and so on. I don't know where it comes from or who the manufacturer is. But it looked like it was easy to paint which was exactly what I needed in my state. After I finished the face I discovered a clump of metal right on her left eye and I had so much trouble getting the eyes to look symmetrical that finally I decided to operate with a scalpel which left a nasty hole right in her face. Blurgh. But, aren't we mini-painters creative? I just transformed the hole into a scar and everything was alright again with the additional bonus of giving her some character. Special thanks to Tee, who encouraged me not to give up. ;) Addition: It's the mage character from the Diablo Box Set by Wizards of the Coast. Thanks, Patrick.

Love the face (aside from the cheek highlight supervike mentioned). The lips look great, and the eye is wonderfully delicate. Gold NMM is very nice.

The Gold NMM looks really good. I like the hair too.

7.5 rounded up. Very clean paint job. The eye and mouth look great. I didn't notice the left eye issue until I read your description. Maybe a little more shading on the tabard might have been nice, but that's just nitpicking.
