Doesn't look like a gelatinous cube to me but more like a really cool hunk of melting ice that your "skelie" is suspended in. Damn shame resin is so expensive...well at least it is here in australia. I have had a couple of bottles that I seem to be keeping for that something special which has never come around....until now. You have given me the inspiration of a project worth cracking the seals on my resin bottles for.
Thanks all, my inspiration came from Peter Lee's (Temperance's) cube found here: http://www.coolminiornot.com/12559 The original blank was sculpted from sculpy along with a paver base. The blank was then used to make a rubber mold. The process then went something like this: Make base (2" square) paint up base. Trim up skeleton and paint. Put base in mold, cast about a third with resin. Cast second third with resin and insert skelie and a bit of gold glitter for loose treasure. Finish filling mold. Demold, file mold lines and put a final wet drippy layer over whole thing.
