it's almost too busy, with all the light purple jewels. Maybe if they were Jeweled a littel better, then they'd stand out. but right now, it's more of "this is a purple guy, and these are his dozens of purple bumps" Just something about just doesn't work. Maybe it's also the combo of the cold dark purple you used, with the warm light purple for the gems.
