Another new release at Spyglass Miniatures, this is Maris: Dark Mistress. As I never got around to showing the green before I'll show it now along with the painted version. Bit of an experiment is style, she's more realistic in proportion than most Spyglass figs (small hands and all that). I wanted a fairly severe look to her and I'm quite happy with the decisions I made. The back is very black but I really didn't want to add anything. ash - she actually reminds me more of Lilith, you have the wrong Crane brother ;) Great mini. She could represent Galadriel... if she was corrupted by the One Ring and decided to start carrying weapons and wearing a bustier.

Those tiny little chain links at her neck... Damn they're good for being so small! Oh, and when can we expect her little sycophantic familiar? A small and scuttling neurotic partner tortures and tormented by her every whim... May i suggest the name Niles...?
