Mangu Timur, Reaper #2483
Another Reaper Mini by W. Klocke I loved this sculpt and its "ready to fight" look, so i decided to give him a proper base to emphatyse this feeling: a stepped rock made out from cork, some sand and static grass and a little bush. Unfortunately, while attaching the mini to the base, it suffered from a dramatic "super-glue accident": a big glue drop ran from the base on the mini and i tried to wash it away before it was too late... well, i discovered that water and superglue are not very close friends, so it came out like Shelob herself made her nest on my mini :-( So, i had to scratch all the superglue away with a large amount of the paintjob underneath :-( Then, i repainted completely :-D I'm quite pleased with the result, as i'm improving my NMM tecniques and blending too. I put in a close-up of the tabard, just in case someone like a closer look (remember how tiny it is in real-life), as i was requested to take bigger pics in my previous minis posts. I hope you'll enjoy looking at this mini as much as i did painting it! comments and criticism are always welcome! Cheers =) Luca
