Crom, the conqueror

I painted this mini in 40-45h. The armour is painted in different tones of Red Gore with highlights of Go Fasta Red, Blazing Orange and Sunburst Yellow. For the sword I intended to show a dark stormy sky reflecting on the metal. I'm not sure if I acomplished it, but I'm quite happy with the effect. It was painted mixing Fortress Gray, Black, and a bit of Regal blue. For the highlights and shadows I mixed more Black or Fortress Gray. The Axe is painted in a mixture of White and Ice Blue. It's supposed to bright in blue, lightning all the surrounds. I'm happy with the result being my first attempt at source lightning (thx Victoria for ur articles and inspiration), altough it could be improved, I think. About the shield, it was painted like a bronze shield with rust falling here and there. The snow was made with green stuff, because I had to paint it with blues to make the effect of the light of the axe. Maybe with talcum powder it would look better, but I wasn't be able to paint on it... And that's all! If u have any comment/criticism or any idea, plz submit them!!! Thx, Mergram.

very good job, i like metal effects. 10 if you do more in the base:footprints representing battle for exemple.

Those weapons are pretty clean for having just decapitated someone. Great paint job though, I'm jealous...
