I'm really happy with the way this Hybrid turned out. I've been practising with my NMM and although it's far from being perfect I'm still quite pleased with the result. I'm not content with the way his robe looks on this picture, but in real life it's not so glossy. Well.. one Hybrid mini done, only twelve left :)

Thanks for you comment. Actually I didn't use any varnish. I think it's just the picture, but since the highlights are a bit crude too I think I'll repaint the robe and take a new pic.

lordofthepits, your NMM technique is there...just add more white to it to emulate the lighting effect...otherwise nicely done. btw, the gloss, is it cos of the varnish? apply matte after satin or gloss varnish...it'll take away the glossy effect and prevent the yellowing effect.
