Hi Wren - You are right about the yellow on the shield. There was something with it that just did not look right to me, and green might be better. I have learned a lot from the great articles here, but there is always more to learn. Thanks for the helpful comments.

The cloak is nicely done, and his armour and pants look pretty good. The boots and gloves are a bit nondescript. I think the shield might look a bit better with a green instead of a yellow (I believe purple, orange and green are a triadic colour scheme.) There are some articles on here about colour use, and also about painting eyes. I think the rest of the face looks pretty good apart from his eyes. I find it helps a lot to use a magnifier for little details like that, but I am getting old. :->

Thank you for the comment No Such Agency. You are right, the base is very plain. Since the base is something I can easily fix, I will take your advice and try to spruce it up more. I also agree with your comment on the face, but unfortunately that is not as easy for me to fix. I will keep working to improve though. Thanks again.
