As I say, it is not true painting, but the kind of quick and easy colouring that many gamers could use.

Just dab rough areas of the white-based minis with two or three successive washes of increasingly diluted and dark tones (of the appropriate colour for each area, of course). Very basic contrast and shadows are achieved in no time, without any effort. 'Course, if you want true results, you'll rely upon real painting techniques, but that's it

I use to do this to get out a lot of armies painted quickly. It looks good and is quick. Blending and shading is much better.
