gee, you're right, I hadn't noticed that thin spot before. The drone is shaded, but I'm still working on getting some good photoes that actually preserve all the shading; I probably also should have done a top view.... The text was painted on, I had planned to use a "Gundam Marker", but I forgot how thick they are. And yeah, at four drones so far, I agree the text is a bit much (my hands....) The metallic parts turned out really flat in the pictures, I'm not sure why though.
I'm a Tau player, so I wanted to comment.
It's good. It looks like your brown is a little thin on the forward-facing rim, to the left of the "00". Also, it's hard to tell if you've done much shading, but this may be the picture.
I'm curious if you painted on the insignia, or if you drew it on. I'm going to dry drawing on with a .05 pen. But in any case, I think your markings are way too busy, like the drone is an ad banner (kidding). I would tone that down some, but that's a personal preference.
One thing I disagree with is the silver (or is it white) on the gun barrel opening.
