Just a shot of one of the forty skinks i'm oni've paid a lot of attention to the eyes, and looked for a nice colour scheme (far away from GW one, which i don't like at all). still don't know which colour should i use for the weapons and still not painted the claws on the feet nor the details I want to make units of 10 so i need to diferenciate them, i thougt i could paint the crest in a different way, i've tried red/yellow and regal blue/ice blue shcemes and work nice, I'd like some advice for other colours that would do nice, the scales on the back are dark angels green to yellow

The smooth blends on the skin and the eyes alone make this worth a 6.g for me - great WIP - I'll see if I can find the finished product....

I'm painting Lizardmen right now. I went to the bookstore and bought a $5 book on reptiles, showing lots of color schemes (picked out some cool turtle schemes to use for shields). WIDE variety of colors available to a reptile, you can justify anything you want (I'm going with desert browns/oranges/reds). Good eyes, but your mini is unfinished, so I rated it very low. As for differentiation among units, you might also make it something simple like the base or the the handle of the blowpipe.
