Black Templar High Marshall NMM

I am thrilled with the results I got on this model...I think its one of my best yet. I tried to keep the colors fairly subdued and my pallette fairly limited on this one. This is my first black templar and I wasn't sure what to expect when I started. As always, comments are appreciated.

8 without the banner. Nice clean paint job & like the nmm. Again not sure about the lens but I get where you're coming from. The banner...looks too stiff and flat. Try bending it to give some life then highlighting as usual. If you use paper then after painting it flat wash some water over it to make it more maleable to shape it better.

It is a lens at the end of the melta gun...it seems fitting based on the description of how they work, as it is similar to a microwave but much more powerful. I know...in Fire Warrior it was a flamethrower, but if that were really the case who would use flamers and why don't meltas use templates? Thanks for the comments though. :D -Scott

this is indeed very well done, but i don't get why you have a gem at the end of a flamer??? The cape on the back (red) looks completly amazing. Good work and kepe it up.
