Tiriel, Paladin

Another of Kev White's creations for his very own Hasselfree Miniatures range, Tiriel is likely to be the most serene looking mini I ever have or ever will paint. Since the mini itself was so different I thought I'd go with a different base too, sculpting cracked flagstones into the recess of a Warhachine base. The overall effect works well I think (then I'm based ;) ) but let me know what you think. :) All constructive criticism, polite remarks or unadulterated praise welcomed :)

I think that it needs more shading as well. Higher contrast make the armour look more metalic rather than plastic or tin. Its a great job overall I love the way thescabbard turned out. Looks like real worn leather

You're both right. She definitely needed more highlights. The next one in the series (kneeling) got mire and looks better imo. The wall mounted indirect light thing sounds great but I'm not quite up to that yet.

Nice and clean and a great looking mini with a very atmospheric pose.It needs an extra highlight on the armour for me though.
