Demonette on Altar

This is the second limited edition sculpt from Kev White's Hasslefree Miniatures, and she is an absolute beauty. The decision to go for a dark blue skin was simply to contrast the limestone altar and be different - hopefully it manages both - and the flame red hair just sort of followed on the theme. Also I tried out non shiny nmm on the few areas of metal on the mini just to see how it would work out. The blood spattering was another first for me, as was the mottled effect of the stone itself, so all on all this model was one big collection of experiments for me and at the end of it all i am quite happy with how it turned out. Any (polite) comments, questions or suggestions are always welcome. :)

great job, even though I have to agree with jubilee about the chains not realy lookin like metal.. the alter is otherwise real cool with the stone texture and the blood spilled... As for the lady, she reminds me Pystic from X-men.... Another reason to like her : )

First off, nice job! the shading looks a little sketchy around the nipples, which I think are a bit more demure than this mini is. I'm also not sure about the pupil-less eyes. As everybody knows, I'm not a fan of NMM, so I won't comment on that other than to say I would prefer metallics. The pedestal looks fantastic!

I like this one alot. The details on the altar are gruesome, yet not overdone. The sculpt is great, too. It's like she's thinking, "Eviscerating virgins just doesn't have the same magic it used to." *Sigh*.
