A troll again. This was my first peice after getting Vallejo paints. Also added a little shrubbery.

I like the trees and stuff on the troll, and he has a great grumpy expression on his face - but the pic is so very grainy it's hard to see how the blending/layering is. I guess maybe it's a compression problem? It almost looks like the effects I get when I'm bored and messing about with the fun filters in Gimp like canvas or frosted glass type stuff etc :)

Vince: I see what you mean about the highlights on the hands not being as well blended as those on the legs. I'll probably be doing this guy again, and I'll keep that in mind. Duck: No hard feelings. Sorry I was so hard on you.

Vincegamer... :) Yep, what do I know about the colours? I still think it looks fine, thus I came back a 3rd time! Cerridwyn1st... According to one of the threads on the forums I appear to have offended you, and am now considered a clown. I apologise, I wasn't criticising. I was try to suggest that I would like to mark higher, but I would like a better picture. I also quite clearly say that I cannot take pictures to save my life... So I think you have misunderstood my comment slightly :( I was trying to interact with you.. give feedback and get some info regarding the tree. I'll mark it 7 this time just to show no hard feelings!
