Second miniature, bling bling space wolf...

Well, here's my second try at a miniature.. i went a bit overboard with the gold, I know :) I though It fit well with the space wolf grey, though. After my first miniature, I learned to thin my paint properly ^^; I painted the main space wolf grey in about 2 - 3 thinned layers, and no more brushstrokes! yay! The sword was painted with an airbrush, since I lack paintbrush-blending skills ^^; although, the wolf pelt on the waist was painted by hand, and it turned out pretty well, with a good blend between the two shades of grey. lemme know what you think... CC welcome.

Nice job on the sword. You need to paint a layer of black over the chest crest and the bands on the legs, and then, over that black layer, paint the gold. Notice that the gold painted on the shoulderpads looks better than the gold painted over the grey. The grey itself could use some shading/washing, and it is always a nice touch to drill the barrel of the guns. Normally, a pin vice with a small drill bit will do, but you could also use the tip of a very shap hobby blade for that, using the appropiate care. Not bad at all.
