LOTR Elendil on sculpted base and banner by James

Once more, a little journey into NMM hell :-) And just like the Gil-Galad, I was plagued by some unexpected castin lumps and other irregularities. If I ever do this one again, I will be filing down the crests on the helmet, and working from scratch. Also, I may have to take the chance of bending the sword at a severe angle to get it out of the way. It's one of those times where the weapon just happens to be sitting at the right angle to block the brush! The base was very fun to do, by comparison. I tried to make Elendil very bright in his color scheme, so that he would contrast with the dirty, torn orc banner at his feet.

This is a great mini just a few flaws one is the winged armour plate on his thigh the earth part should follow the curve and the cape is a bit of a let down but other than that superb

Looks brilliant at first, but with closer inspection there are some irregularities on the SENMM on the helmet as zenmaster said and also on shoulder armour and the wings on his thighs, hence an 8 rather than a 9
