Geralt the Witcher Bust
Hello, and Seasons Greetings everyone! It feels like a long time since I've posted here. I've been busy in life and busy working when I can as well and have recently finished and had time to photograph my second ever bust. I absolutely loved painting this and I feel like it's come out pretty nicely. Because of the style of bust I went for an over sketchy look with lots of visible brush strokes and messiness and I feel like it really helps give what is essentially a lifeless bust some life. For those of you who haven't played the games this is Geralt from the Witcher series (The Witcher 2 & 3 are two of my all-time favorite games so when I saw this I just had to get it). I have to say I LOVE BUSTS and I will be endeavoring to do more of them. This one was HUGE compared to most of the things I paint as you can see from the size comparison shot at the end. This will be one of my entries for Crystal Dragon so I hope you like it!
