Legolas

For a full, zoomed in, 4-sided view of this miniature, cut and paste the following URL: http://www.edv-partner.com/ceno/ablage/headblast5/gallery/albums/userpics/legolas2.jpg into your browser address bar. When I first saw this mini, I just had to paint it. It is a great sculpt and can at times be a toughie to paint. I have tried to follow the colour scheme as close to the movie as possible.... however, I had to make some colour adjustments because some of the original movie colours didnt really work well with this mini. I did a black base with inscriptions from the One Ring poem in gold around the figure. All in all this is one work that really looks great sitting on my shelf.....:D

Again...i saw him in the flesh (ahem...not tabithatan...anyways she's a her :) ) and it's gorgeous!! Well, you never fail to impress with your painting skills. :) PS: 10 is impossible, 9 is godly and 8 for me is out of this world! - if there's a 8.9, i would have given it! so, since it's nearer to 9, i'll give a 9er.

to answer some questions about the mini's origin.... its not a "collectable figure" its the "Elf Archer" from Andrea Miniatures.
