Confrontation Wolfen Zeiren by James

I'm not sure what the exact reason is for the difficulty I seemed to have with this mini. It may be that I had to paint it in three serarate pieces! While painitng it this way did give me a lot more access to the recessed areas, it did create a bit of a problem in keeping the lighting going in the same direction. For instance, any gems or small things could very easily have ended up with the highlights upside down! If the figure had been fully assembled prior to painting, there is no way I could have reached most of the interior stuff (it was hard enough as it was!) Having sculpted several large creatures myself with lots of gear and extras, I am still trying to figure out how the sculptor was able to get his tools in some areas ;-) It is an amazing sculpt, as are all the Confrontation wolfens. My hat goes of to all the sculptos involved.

nice... I love the use of complimentary colors, in the red and blue. My only criticism would be the rust on the halbred. looks kind of blotchy, i think if you had made it more transparent (thinner) it would have a more realistic look.
