Owain Glyn Dwr (from Pegaso) 54mm

This is my first attempt at an historical mini. I have to say that the Pegaso minis are outstanding; the quality of the sculpt is absolutely stunning. With the basing (and mud-spattered caparison) I tried to capture the battle readiness of this hero who was the leader of the last and most serious Welsh rebellion and proclaimed the Prince of Wales in 1416. The Golden Dragon was his symbol and the quartered lions is the symbol of the Prince of Wales. I hope you like it. It was a real pleasure (and test) to paint.

and a ten from me too! well done and i like the green; an acurate colour given the dyes they used, leaves and horse piss equals lime green!!!

Love it. Hmmm, looks like another mod to the favorites list. Fantastic base.

I would like to give 10 as well, but I find that particular green somewhat distracting, so it is only a 9.5 :D However, the heraldry is brilliant, and the armor looks awesome! - Glyn
