I get the feel for the character with the colors you have chosen. I would recommend trying to experiment more with shadows and highlights. Darklining would also help parts of the model stand out more. Especially in the eye area. I would try a brown ink wash in the eye sockets, then an offwhite color for the eyeball itself followed by black for the eye. Any mess can be easily cleaned up with the brown wash carefully applied to the under and upper eye. Hope that helps some.
