LotR Elnaith (High-Elf Cavalry)

This one is completely plastic, so i'm particulartly pleased with it, its quite a large conversion aswell. I used the top half of a High-Elf and the bottom half and horse of a rider of Rohan. The picture dosen't show this well but the blend between the rider of rohan and the high elf is seemless. Extra bits have been added with green stuff including upper arms and the armour on his legs. I'm really pleased with this piece as it took me a long time, and went on to win the RotK battle games day painting competition a few weeks ago (dec 14th), at the Gw HQ. Comments welcome, also note that this mini is 28mm scale.

Nice job. I really like the way the helmet came out. I wouldn't have known it was 2 minis if you hadn't said so. Down side, the "grass" looks too straight and unnatural. I'd have left it off but if you want it, fan it out more at the top. Also, the horse is not the same level of painting as the rider.
